Description
1920's-30's St. Louis Cardinals Signed Photographs by George Burke Lot of 17. Stirring assemblage of works from the lens of this famed baseball photographer are made all the more appealing by the addition of high quality autographs from the Cards pictured. It appears that most of the 4x6" prints date to the 1930's, and each bears Burke's personal stamp on verso. Present are: Dizzy Dean, Gutteridge, Davis, Carleton, Bucher, Si Johnson (personalized to Steven), Krist, Terry Moore, O'Farrell (personalized to Steve), Pippen, Stripp, Sunkel, Whitehead, Weiland, Rip Collins (personalized to Cards coach Buzzy Wares), Douthit and Gonzales. Signatures are uniformly 9/10 or better, and photos show no noteworthy condition flaws. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.Auction Info
