    Description

1918 New York Yankees Panoramic Wire Photograph. The first one you've seen? That makes two of us. But, sure enough, this 10x29" photographic print on matte (gloss-free) paper bears three "Nassau Photo-Film Service" stamps and a typed paper caption identifying each member including Hall of Famers Frank "Home Run" Baker and the tiny new manager Miller Huggins (ninth and fourteenth from left respectively). A four-inch horizontal tear at far left and another an inch long at right represent the condition concerns, leaving the photo in remarkably fine shape considering its delicate nature. Yankee photography predating Ruth's arrival is quite scarce, and this is one of the most appealing we've encountered from that thin supply.
