1914 Honus Wagner Original Mounted Photograph. Measuring larger than a typical cabinet photograph, this 5x7" image of Honus Wagner is mounted to 8x10" cardboard. The mount has been dated on the back with the notation, "Polo Grounds - June 16, '14." During this year, "The Flying Dutchman" began showing signs of his age slowing him down, as his batting average dropped below .300 for the first time in fifteen years. He would still knock out 139 hits and steal twenty-three bases.

Wagner took a moment to turn towards the photographer during pre-game warm-ups in this image, with an unidentified player behind him. Nice image of Wags as well as a great shot of the early advertising in the grandstands behind him. In Very Good condition, this piece has only a chipped bottom right corner to discount the grade.
