1914 Boston Braves "World's Champions" Composite Team Photograph. Sitting in last place on the Fourth of July, the "Miracle Braves" went an astonishing 68-19 over the second half of the season and won the National League Pennant handily. Meeting up with Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics and their "$100,000 Infield" in the Fall Classic, George Stalling's Boston boys swept the American League victors to capture the franchise's first championship. Photograph measures 5x10" with few flaws and wear that can be attributed to the nature of working press photos. Editorial markings and stampings on the reverse.
