    Description

1914 Boston Braves Underwood & Underwood Photograph. Exceptional silver-gelatin team shot of the Miracle Braves derives from the famed studio of Elmer and Burt Underwood, which stood as one of the giants of the picture service industry before falling victim to the Great Depression. This razor-sharp image of the greatest comeback club in baseball history remains in spectacular condition, with paper caption on verso and varying incarnations of studio stamping indicating news use from the mid-1910's through the late 1920's. Dimensions are just a hair larger than 7.5x9". The lightest crease runs through the stands over the players' heads, and is only visible at sharp angles to the light. Presents as NRMT. Type 1.
