    Description

1910's Walter Johnson Original Photograph by Paul Thompson, PSA/DNA Type 1. Thank god Walter Johnson had a heart of gold. The Big Train didn't back players off the plate as he was afraid he would kill a hitter if one got away. Famed baseball photographer Paul Thompson captured this classic original 8x10" photo. We don't know what has Johnson's fancy but the youngster has a grin from ear-to-ear. The upper right corner is chipped but the clarity makes up for any minor flaws on the EX/MT issue. The following appear on back: "Walter Johnson who pitch for the Washington." (pencil), "Photo by Paul Thompson" (stamped) and PSA/DNA sticker. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
