    Description

1910's Napoleon Lajoie Original Photograph by Paul Thompson, PSA/DNA Type 1. He was so beloved by his adopted Cleveland hometown that they named the team for him. The leader of the Naps warms up pre-game in this shot by one of the most skilled and collectible lensmen of the Dead Ball Era, whose stamp appears on verso along with a penciled "Lajoie Cleve." notation, presumably in Thompson's hand. Moderate wear is exhibited, while it measures at 5x7". One of the finest images of this inaugural class Hall of Famer we've encountered, the perfect complement to a quality autograph. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
