1910's-20's Chicago Black Sox Original Photography Lot of 16. It remains the greatest scandal in the history of our National Pastime, but disgust has fermented over the decades into fascination, powering fierce competition for period relics such as these. Images picture members of the Eight Men Out before and after the betrayal, with highlights including a Paul Thompson image of Buck Weaver, a great small portrait shot of Shoeless Joe Jackson, and even an image from Landis' courtroom. Also a glass plate negative of Eddie Cicotte pitching. All are period prints. We encourage interested bidders to view the entire collection in our online imagery. Images range from snapshot size to 7x9" and average VG-EX. A thrilling visual documentation of the fascinating Black Sox scandal.
