    1910's-20's Bresnahan, Mathewson (2) and Barger Original News Photographs Lot of 4, PSA/DNA Type 1. 1) The Duke of Tralee, Roger Bresnahan, depicted upright in full catcher's gear, about to receive a throw as a Giant. Mask and chest protector of the day clearly visible. Paper remnant (3x1") affixed to front. Conlon stamp on back. 8x9.5". 2) Eros Bolivar "Cy" Barger shown here following through on a pitch during his tenure with Brooklyn. Conlon stamp on back. 8x10". 3) Christy Mathewson pictured for the first time in the uniform of the Cincinnati Reds, with bats strewn behind him, when he took over the managerial duties in 1916. Discoloration on front and back. International Film Service stamp on back. 6.5x8.5". 4) 1922 Christy Mathewson "Big Six Aids sale of Red Cross Seals" photo. Paper caption on back dates to "12-2-22." Dimensions 6.5x8.5" Edge wear and chipping, minor flaws to image. LOA from PSA/DNA Type 1 (individual letters).
