1910 Jack Coombs World Series Game 3 Original Photograph by George Grantham Bain. Hot off of a 31-victory, thirteen-shutout, 1.30 ERA season because presumed Philadelphia Athletics aces Eddie Plank and Chief Bender, Jack Coombs' right arm took control during the Fall Classic and led the City of Brotherly Love to its first Championship.

Taking the mound in games two, three, and five Colby Jack would not relinquish it in any of the contest, pitching twenty-seven innings to become only the second player to go 3-0 or better in the World Series.

Snapped before the third game of the Series - in which Coombs would help his own cause, going 3-5 with a double and 3 RBIs - the original photograph measures 4x5" and exhibits moderate wear with more evident creasing on both the right corners. Reverse features purple "OCT 21" and "Special Sporting Service George Grantham Bain" stampings.
