    Description

1909 Detroit Tigers Photographic Premium. Marvelous display piece is the first of its type we've encountered, pairing delectable Dead Ball Era graphics with a star-studded cast of characters including Ty Cobb and manager Hughie Jennings, each pictured among the twenty-three team members in individual circular vignettes at the center of the design. Pouncing tigers ring the perimeter, with an American League baseball at top and the captured pennant at bottom. Text announces "Detroit Tigers, Champions 1909." The relic is printed on light card stock, measuring ten inches square with clipped corners that we believe to be consistent with the state of issue. Some wear to the piece is confined fairly exclusively to the white border area, leaving the design free of distractions. Verso features handwritten roster and name stamps of the original owner, none of which affects the front. A wonderful, rare artifact with both looks and personality.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
