1900-1910 Heinie Berger Cabinet Photograph by Carl Horner. Collectors of the M116 issue will likely recognize this image, utilized by the Sporting Life publishers for the rare and highly collectible set. Berger wears the uniform of the Cleveland Naps, a team named after its Hall of Fame second baseman and further populated by legends like Cy Young and Addie Joss. The 5x7" mount is chipped at upper right and a small divot appears at Berger's left ear, but otherwise the photo has survived wonderfully and presents very well.
