1887 Indianapolis Hoosiers Large Team Photograph. Enormous (image size 14x18.5") sepia team studio photograph captures the troubled Indianapolis Hoosiers ballclub at midseason, a fact we are able to determine by the presence of manager Fred Thomas, the second of three skippers tapped by ownership in a failed attempt to right the ship. A last place finish in the National League can do absolutely nothing, however, to dampen the appeal of this exceedingly rare image, one of very few known to picture this short-lived (1887-89) franchise. Most recognizable to baseball historians will be shortstop Jack Glasscock, who was topped only by Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers in the hunt for the 1889 National League batting title, and finished first the next season in front of "Sliding Billy" Hamilton. Early long ball artist Jerry Denny is likewise known to many 19th century baseball aficionados. A very faint area of toning at left accounts for the bulk of noteworthy condition issues, and our catalog imagery should properly indicate just how inconsequential this is. A small imperfection at the photo's lower edge is likewise mentioned for the sake of full disclosure. Each player is elegantly identified at the lower border, as is the "Arthur & Philbric" photography studio in Detroit where the image was snapped. A simple yet tasteful framing and matting job completes the dimensions of 22x27". Third party shipping is required.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
