1870's New York Mutual Green Stockings Jack Nelson (?) Cabinet Photo. Offered is a rare C. 1870's cabinet photo of New York Mutuals Green Stockings of who we believe to be 3rd Basemen Jack Nelson. This identification is based on images available to us and so this may not be final identification. The overall dimension is 4-1/4" x 6-1/8" due to the photographer's credit normally seen along the bottom has been cut off. The back shows finger print staining and that is it for a condition report. The photo is in terrific condition with just some slight surface wear, the mount shows no creases, wrinkles or surface damage. An infinite amount of tiny detail is visible in his face, clothes and surrounding adornment. There is a catchers mask seen to the left suggesting it could Charlie Mills. Easily presents at the near-mint level.
