1867 Baseball Player with "R" Bib Carte de Visite (CDV). An elegant baseballer leaning on his bat poses in full uniform with white nautical-style cap, dress-style pants, and swashbuckler-style jersey with pinned sleeve cuff and "R" bib. "Photographed by Theo M. Moltz, West Fairview, PA" on back along with "1867" in vintage pencil. There is some mild discoloration form age but this is still a magnificent and rare early baseball image.Auction Info
