    Vintage 1930's-1980's Babe Ruth Collectibles Group (5). Offered is an enticing gallery of five items showcasing the greatest baseball player/personality - Babe Ruth. The collection includes: 1) 1980's Japanese phone card (NM-MT); 2) Bantam Books "Babe Ruth" biography. November 1948 edition. Presents close to excellent condition, slight wear at spots; 3) 1930's Quaker Oats Babe Ruth Baseball Club pin. Approx. 1" dia. celluloid pin present (VG) with missing stick pin segment; 4) Vintage approx.. 7x4" paper envelope with Babe Ruth monogram. (EX); 5) 1948 Babe Ruth Wristwatch. Released shortly after the sad passing of this baseball icon, this special wristwatch by Exacta counted the hours of Ruth's eternal reign over the baseball world. Does not keep time. The child's size sterling silver timepiece offers a great portrait of the Bambino on the face, and presents at the NM condition level. The wrist band has wear and some slight loose stitching at one end.
