    Description

Tris Speaker Painting. Speaker was arguably the greatest centerfielder ever to play the position. Tris played with the Boston Red Sox, the Cleveland Indians, the Washington Senators, and the Philadelphia Athletics, He was in the inaugural induction class when the National Baseball Hall of Fame opened in 1939, compiled a lifetime .345 batting average, and accumulated more doubles than anyone in baseball history. We offer an original painting from Grant Smith, which features repeated photo copied images of Speaker's eyes. A contour line painting of Speaker is applied on top of the eyes, and a colorful background allows the figure to stand out in contrast. The actual image measures 32" x 14.5" the borders on all four sides measure 2.5". This painting will come rolled in a tube, which allows significant savings on shipping.
