    Description

Napoleon Lajoie Signed Index Card. Now this is more like it! We've never quite been able to understand how someone with a cool name like "Napoleon" would choose to go by "Larry," but we've had to resign ourselves to the fact that the vast majority of his autographs utilized the less regal nomenclature. But here we find the inaugural class Hall of Famer staying true to his imperial roots, providing a gorgeously scripted "Napoleon Lajoie" in 9/10 blue fountain pen ink on a blank 3x5" index card. Clearly one of the finest exemplars in the hobby. Also included is a small snapshot and 3.5x5.5" black and white Hall of Fame Plaque postcard of the notable baseball pioneer. Auction LOA from JSA.
