Description
Mid-1980's Dave Winfield Game Worn New York Yankees Batting Helmet. Winnie's midnight navy lid saw heated action in the Bronx and beyond. Team ("NY") and player ("31") identifiers affixed to the exterior in white decals. The interior head band is intact and displays "31" in faded vintage black marker. ABC branding is apparent at the exterior back and the underbrim. Exhibits heavy wear, including dings to the exterior, sweat and dirt remnants on the headband and underbill, and two cracks to major cracks to the crown.
