Late 1960's Mickey Mantle Signed Texas Driver's License.
We aren't certain how long Texas driver's licenses were effective back in those days, but the 1971 expiration date, and the youthful image, strongly suggest that the Mick was still active with the Yankees when he was issued the card. The text is a bit faded, his unmistakable signature now a 6/10, but the great appeal remains undiminished. Mantle's driver's license expiring in 1987 commanded a winning bid of $11,800 in the famous 2003 Guernsey's auction of his personal collection, and this is quite clearly a superior specimen.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
