Fenway Park Green Monster Piece from Jimmy Fund Charity. Red Sox Hall of Famers Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski proved themselves to be heroes off the field as well as on, dedicating money, resources and their considerable star power to fight childhood cancer with the charitable "Jimmy Fund" organization. Their humanitarian efforts have proven to be a great boon to memorabilia collectors as well, as they spearheaded the efforts to sell pieces of the famed Green Monster left field wall, removed during the 1976 Fenway renovations, to benefit the charity. Check the film footage of Carlton Fisk's dramatic 1975 World Series home run, and you might be able to spot this 3x5" slab of the most noteworthy architectural structure in baseball.
