    Description

Early Twentieth Century Handpainted Lamp with Sports Theme. Turn of the century artifact straddles the line between decorative art and sports collectible, and may be the only piece in your collection of which your wife will approve. The glass body and matching glass shade are adorned with wonderful handpainted portraits of athletes at their craft, including a baseball player, golfer, oarsman, soccer, tennis, croquet and field hockey players. The piece began its life as an oil lamp but was converted to electricity during the Edison years and remains functional in that regard. The base measures eighteen inches in height inclusive of its metal base and top, with the shade measuring approximately nine inches tall and fifteen inches in diameter. Condition is remarkably strong given the age and delicate construction of the lamp, with no cracking or chipping to report. A most elegant artifact that will "class up" your trophy room in a hurry.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
