Early 1960's Mickey Mantle Cooper Tires Advertising Sign. Mickey Mantle's popularity transcended just the city of New York. Just as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio enjoyed worldwide fame during their careers, so did Mantle in the 1950's and 1960's. Part of this included hawking every kind of knickknack and doohickey possible. In this large cardboard promotional piece, Mantle declares Cooper Tires to be, "Every one a winner." The yellow sign measures 17x20" and includes the original easel on the verso. Two very minor water stains are found on the left side, but otherwise, this is one of the better examples of this sign to come to market.
