Circa 2008 Barry Bonds Issued Fielder's Glove. Barry Bonds never formally retired from the game of baseball. Following his career home run record eclipsing season, Bonds couldn't find a suitor for his services. Created in 2008, probably in anticipation of the season, is this Wilson A2000 1957 model fielder's glove. No use is shown. The glove is right-hand fit for a lefty thrower as Bonds was and measures 13" in length. "Barry Bonds" is embroidered on the thumb in orange thread. A Wilson dial system is instituted on the wrist strap and a Pro Sleeve is available for the index finger. Joe Phillips confirmed the glove was created following Bonds' playing days and not used by the superstar.
