    Circa 1984 Gary Carter Game Worn First Baseman's Glove from The Gary Carter Collection. Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter played 2,272 Major League Baseball games. While the vast majority (2056) of those games were as a catcher, he did play seventy-six games at first base. His Wilson Pro-Back is an A-2800 model exhibits fine and even game wear with perfunctory ball scuffs. Beautiful, rectangular Wilson tag with the Major League Baseball logo is sewn on the outside. Best of all are the identifying "CARTER" and "8" on the left thumb in faded but very legible marker. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter.
