Circa 1960 Gil Hodges Game Used Fielder's Glove, PSA/DNA Authentic.
Update: A PSA Full LOA is included for the autograph.

The most beloved Bum outside the hallowed halls of Cooperstown, Gil Hodges represented the Dodgers in seven Fall Classics and was an All-Star eight times. This first baseman's mitt has a labeling period of 1960 according to the PSA/DNA letter. The Wilson model A2801 glove measures twelve inches and shows excellent use characteristics from the fan favorite. Even pocket wear is shown inside and throughout according to PSA/DNA expert Dennis Esken.

The glove was originally consigned to Heritage in 2010 by the son of a prominent Los Angeles doctor who became close with a number of his new neighbors, and a 9/10 inscription, "To Johnny, Best Wishes, Gil Hodges," makes a gift of the glove to the young boy. The "JOH" in Johnny and "G" in Gil. A 1960 Topps Hodges card with moderate corner wear is also included. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
