Circa 1957 Don Rowe Game Worn Hollywood Stars Jacket. Don Rowe was a baseball lifer. The pitcher spent the bulk of his career in the minors before becoming a coach. In 1957, Rowe played for the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League. This aesthetically pleasing "Wilson size 44" letterman's style jacket was worn by Rowe when with the Stars. "Hollywood" is arched on the reverse. A team emblem is affixed over the heart in two-color formation. Red and white ribbed material surrounds the neck and tail while red is around the sleeve ends. Wilson and size tags are sewn in the collar. "25" is affixed just below the left pocket in navy. Both sleeve inserts have leather reinforcement. The zipper is functional. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
