Circa 1950 Honus Wagner Signed Letter with Babe Ruth Content. The Ford Motor Company's association with the Bambino included a free car on Babe Ruth Day in 1947. A void would need to be filled when Ruth died in 1948 though. This typed letter was sent from Honus Wagner to Ken Smith of the Daily Mirror in New York. The Dutchman thanks Smith for getting him in contact with the proper people at the car company to fill Ruth's role for Ford. Wagner closes the letter with a perfect 10/10 black ink signature. The letter, on Wagner's personal stationery, has mailing folds which do not impede the stellar autograph. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
