    Description

Circa 1930 Lou Gehrig Personally Owned Handkerchiefs Lot of 2 from The Lou Gehrig Collection.

UPDATE: This lot includes a letter of provenance from the consignor.

The Iron Horse stays true to Yankee blue with this pair of handkerchiefs he wore when suiting up in something a bit more fancy than his game attire. Best is the striped example bearing his "H.L.G." monogram. Each measures about sixteen inches square, and exhibits minor age toning but no distractions of significance. Unquestionably the most budget-friendly opportunity to own a piece of a legend's personal wardrobe. Letter of provenance from consignor.
