Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Cut Signature Display. Enshrine the ultimate one-two punch in your own home with this riveting signed display piece (matted and framed 16.5x23). Oversized black and white photograph (10x13" visible) of Ruth and Gehrig sitting behind the backstop in their Yankee road flannels with their hats and bats in their hands and staring straight at the camera. Lou is smirking while Babe is wearing his game face. Below the image sits a singular signed cut (3.5x2" visible) featuring both HOF autographs in bold black ink. The signatures grade a 9/10. The paper has a fold that runs through the signatures and there is a thin red line that very slightly touches the top of the Babe's autograph. But these minor concerns do little to take away from the overall majesty of this piece. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
