Description
Circa 1920 Christy Mathewson Signed Insurance Document. A lack of a printed date on this single page of onion sheet paper leaves the precise vintage a mystery, but a document such as this, calculating insurance rates for a team roster, was clearly executed during Matty's later years as a manager for the Reds or (more likely) president of the Boston Braves. The 7.5x8" page features typed line item pricing and closes with the Hall of Fame pitcher's 8/10 black fountain pen signature in his "C. Mathewson" format. Page exhibits original storage folds but no other issues of note. A desirable official document from the toughest autograph of the original Hall of Fame class. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
