Description

Circa 1908 Wahoo Sam Crawford Presentation Pocket Watch. The pride and joy of Wahoo, Nebraska, Sam Crawford was one of the game's biggest stars during the Deadball era. Home runs were not commonplace when Crawford played. Crawford was king of the triple. This Hamilton watch was presented to the hitting great by fans in Flint, Michigan during Crawford's playing days. "To Samuel E. Crawford from Flint Friends" is expertly engraved on back. A chip is visible on the enamel at the 2 o'clock position. Affixed to the watch is a baseball charm. We did wind the special present and it is still in working order.
