Description

Circa 1900 Home Baseball Game. There were two versions of this game released around the turn of the century, one featuring a box top with a bucolic landscape background, and this more daring artistic choice of silhouettes in game action. Both offer the same marvelous period details in the uniforms and equipment of the larger figures, and the interior of each style features a ballfield playing surface with gorgeous scroll work and equipment figurals. Spinner that operates game play and the full population of colored pegs for base runners are present. Handwriting on lid and mild handling/storage wear, but condition overall is terrific for a game of this advanced age. Trademark McLoughlin Bros, New York.
