Cased Colt Reissue of a Model 1851 Navy Single Action Revolver Presented to Joe DiMaggio.Serial no. 18470 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. Silver-plated grip straps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Contained in wooden fitted display case with blue felt lining. Sold along with personalized Connecticut police badge engraved: HONORARY CHIEF / JOE DIMAGGIO / 6-29-75. Nipple wrench, powder flask, bullet mold and cap tin also included. Butt of the revolver features a sticker from The Joe DiMaggio Collection. Letter of provenance from Joe DiMaggio's family.
