    Description

Babe Ruth Vintage Ephemera Lot of 6. Here we offer six pieces of vintage ephemera that relate to the Great Bambino himself, Babe Ruth. His electric personality, as well as his prowess with the long ball, made him the most popular man in America, which naturally led to a boom of items in the market that bore his familiar visage. First we offer a 1934 Quaker Oats Babe Ruth flip book, measuring 2-1/4 x 3" and depicting the Babe smashing one out of the park. Also from Quaker Oats, we offer a Babe Ruth Baseball Club pin from 1938 which measures 1" in diameter. Next, we offer two exhibit cards, one from the Baseball's Great Hall of Fame issue 1974, while the other from the Exhibit Supply Company's blue tinted 1928 issue. Finally, we offer two copies of a 45 RPM record entitled "The Greatest Moments in Sports," which features athletes, including Babe Ruth, telling anecdotes relating to their lives and sports.
