Assorted Presentational Pieces and Other Artifacts from the Casey Stengel Collection. An intriguing assortment of pieces from the life of this ageless baseball figure includes: 1) Wooden box with plaque engraved "Presented to Casey Stengel by the New York Mets, World Champions 1969." We are unsure of what the contents may once have been. Box measures 2x4x5". 2) Smaller (1x2.5x3") presentational box with Yankees logo embossed on lid. Again, we are unsure of former contents. 3) Belt buckle with engraved letter "S." 4) Yankees logo money clip. 5) Yankees pin (1.5" diam.). 6) 1927 Babe Ruth 60 Home Runs souvenir pen knife. 7 & 8) Presentational pocket knife and mechanical pencil from two different Governors of Florida. 9 & 10) Two baseball themed collectible spoons. One has "M" logo at top; other has word "Boulder" engraved in bowl of spoon. All pieces show expected wear from thirty-plus years of storage, yet still present very well.
