2014 Yankee Stadium Opening Day Game Used Home Plate -- Derek Jeter's Last Home Opener, Signed by Jeter, MLB Authentic, Steiner & Fanatics. Hefty and battle-scarred, this home plate was used for the first week of the 2014 New York Yankees season (April 7 through April 13), thus present for Derek Jeter's last home opener in the Bronx. Jeter himself validates the claim with a 7/10 black sharpie signature on the surface of the relic with the following notation applied in his hand: "Last Opening Day NYY Stadium." Major League Baseball, Steiner Sports and Fanatics validate this important attribution, although their dating has small inconsistencies, none of which dispute the Opening Day attribution.
