    Description

2009 Mariano Rivera Game Used Bullpen Pitching Rubber from His 500th Save. When "Enter Sandman" blared through the speakers at Yankee Stadium, it usually meant the game was in-hand. Blessed with a cut fastball, Mariano Rivera earned thirteen All-Star appearances to go with his five World Series rings and World Series MVP award. The entire baseball world was watching June 28, 2009 when Rivera notched his 500th career save. He also contributed at the plate by driving in his first career RBI. This pitching rubber was used in the bullpen the night Rivera became only the second man to reach the 500 save plateau. The memento measures 24x6x6" and has dirt caked on all angles. A letter of provenance from Yankees/Steiner is included. Rivera reserved a large signature and "500th Save 6/28/09" inscription. MLB (LH 413789), Steiner Game Used and Steiner holograms are affixed on the artifact. Letter of provenance from Yankees-Steiner. MLB Authentic. LH 413789. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
