    Description

2009 C.C. Sabathia World Series Game Worn Fielder's Glove. The perfect bookend to the glove worn by this towering fire-thrower in the new Yankee Stadium Grand Opener, the provided Nike Diamond Delite glove can be seen on the right hand of Sabathia in photography of Games One and Four of the 2009 Fall Classic. Solid game wear is evident, with the same embroidered tribute to C.C.'s perished cousin embroidered on the thumb, "R.I.P. NB," and number "52" embroidered on wrist strap. An 8/10 black sharpie signature near the wrist is notated, "Game Used WS 2009." Included is a signed letter of provenance from Sabathia. Waite Hoyt started Game One of the 1923 World Series, the first in the old Stadium. This could be considered the modern equivalent. Letter of provenance from C.C. Sabathia. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
