    Description

2006 Stan Musial Bronze Statue by Sculptor Who Created Busch Stadium Statue Plus Smaller Bust. Magnificent study in bronze of the left-handed swing that recorded more hits than all but three men in the history of the Majors is the unmistakable work of Harry Weber, whose life-sized Musial statue holds a place of honor just outside the turnstiles of Busch Stadium. This example might be even more special for being Stan the Man's personal model, and his autograph is carved into the mold that created the casting. Weber's signature and a partially legible edition number is carved into the base. Height is approximately eighteen inches. Also here is a smaller (ten inches tall) bronze bust presented to Musial upon his 1999 recognition as a "Missouri Sports Legend." Third party shipping required.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
