    Description

2004 St. Louis Cardinals National League Championship Prototype Ring. Not even the Curse of the Bambino could save the birds from the Red Sox juggernaut, which first shocked the Yankees by surviving a three-games-to-nothing ALCS deficit before sweeping the World Series to end eighty-six years of misery. This size 11 prototype ring mirrors what the players were gifted by the organization. A red logo bird is offset by a sea of CZs on the face, ringed by the words "National League Champions Cardinals." "Dewitt" appears on left shank above another team logo, while right shank announces "2004, 16th World Series, 105-57." The gold plated Jostens ring weighs thirty-four grams (34g.). A gray velvet pouch is included.
