2004 Bobby Murcer Signed Hole-In-One Display. After his baseball career ended, Bobby Murcer played a lot of golf and loved the game for its social interactions as much as for its athletic appeal. This display piece, commemorating Bobby's incredible hole-in-one shot at the Plantation Golf Club in Frisco, Texas, consists of hole-in-one flag, golf ball and scorecard all wonderfully matted and set in a beautiful wooden, shadowbox frame. Checkered green and white "The Plantation Hole In One" flag with course logo is inscribed "February 5, 2004, Hole #8, Bobby Murcer" and signed by "Bobby Murcer" plus three others in black sharpie. Titleist ball also signed by Murcer and three others. Bobby's official scorecard filled out in pencil with "1" circled. Signatures 9/10. Matted and framed 27x25.5x3". Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Letter of provenance from the family of Bobby Murcer.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
