Description
1999 New York Yankees World Series Championship Ring. A second consecutive World Series sweep for the mighty pinstripers put this modern dynasty into rarefied air occupied only by the 1927-28 and 1938-39 editions, and the Yankee brass spared no expense in marking the occasion. A sea of diamonds immerses the face of the hefty ring, featuring a raised logo "NY" and the "1999" vintage. Left shank marks the 25th trip to the Major League mountaintop with a miniature Championship trophy and Stadium imagery between recipient "Swindal" and the word "Tradition." Right shank boasts, "The Century's Team" with Yankees bat and hat logo and "25th World Championship." Interior band measures to a size eleven and is stamped "Balfour 14K" and engraved "Steven Swindal." Pristine condition.Auction Info
