With a personal letter of provenance from the Hall of Fame southpaw!

1999 New York Yankees World Championship Ring Presented to Whitey Ford. The Chairman of the Board earned six World Championship rings of his own during sixteen seasons of Hall of Fame service to the Yankees, but as one of the team's greatest living dignitaries the seventy-one year old southpaw was remembered during the most recent Bronx dynasty. The Yankees dropped just one postseason contest en route to their second consecutive World Championship this year--in their ALCS meeting with the Boston Red Sox--sweeping both the Texas Rangers in the Divisionals and the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. This is the pot of gold that was waiting at the end of that rainbow.

Identical to those rings in the trophy cases of Jeter, Rivera, Pettitte and Posada, the design is punctuated by a diamond-laden face from which the classic "NY" logo emerges at center of the "1999" vintage. Left shank marks the 25th trip to the Major League mountaintop with a miniature Championship trophy and Stadium imagery between recipient "Ford" and the word "Tradition." Right shank boasts, "The Century's Team" with Yankees bat and hat logo and "25th World Championship." Interior band measures to a size eleven and is stamped "Balfour 14K." Weight is forty-seven (47) grams.

The ring presents in stunning Mint condition in its original glass-topped cherry wood and velvet hinged display case and is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Ford himself. Letter of provenance from Whitey Ford. LOA from PSA/DNA.
