    Description

1996 Derek Jeter Game Worn, Signed Rookie Cleats. In a hobby where Derek Jeter memorabilia is fairly plentiful, the current listing stands alone as one of the most impressive pairs of cleats worn by the future Hall of Famer. Obtained by our consignor at a charity benefit at the All Star Cafe in 1996, the black leather "FILA" shoes present superb wear, with dirt in the metal spikes. Each is signed by Jeter in NM black ink, while "Turn 2" is embroidered at the backs in black thread. Worn during the early part of Jeter's storied career in the Big Apple, these are as good as it gets in the eyes of most advanced Jeter collectors. Letter of provenance from the consignor. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
