Description

1996 Cal Ripken, Jr. 2,125th Consecutive Game Full Ticket PSA NM-MT 8. While much was made of Ripken eclipsing the consecutive games record of Lou Gehrig, the world record was actually still held by Japan's Sachio Kinugasa, who played in 2,214 straight games from 1970-87. Here we offer a full ticket from the Kansas City Royals encounter with Ripken and the Orioles in which Ripken broke the world record. Dated June 14, 1996, this ticket has been graded by PSA/DNA a NM-MT 8.
