1995 Nippon Series Most Valuable Player Award Presented to Tom O'Malley - Japanese League.
Tom O'Malley's journeyman nine-year career included stops in six different cities. Following his Major League days, O'Malley went overseas where he played two years and eventually became a coach with the Hanshin Tigers of the Nippon Professional Baseball League. One of his two seasons resulted in a MVP award. This prize stands 9" tall and has the following raised against the gold: "Nippon Series 1995 Professional Baseball Commissioner." The base pulls away from the top slightly. Letter of provenance from Tom O'Malley.
