1993 Toronto Blue Jays World Championship Trophy Presented to & Signed by Roberto Alomar with Player Letter. Not so fast, USA! After ending a previously unbroken reign of American dominance of Major League Baseball in 1992, the Blue Jays successfully defended their World Championship title the following season, setting trophies like this monumental beauty into production.The distinctive styling of this award features a ring of flags announcing every Major League team, with crown and baseball figurals at center. Pins sporting the logo of the Blue Jays and the Philadelphia Phillies, who met that October, are positioned in front. Ringing the base of the twelve-inch (12") tall trophy is a golden band, which is engraved, "World Series Champions, Toronto Blue Jays, 1993, Roberto Alomar." The ball at center shows some wear.
Minor storage wear present. Underside of the base bears "Balfour" maker's sticker and is signed and notated "My Original W.S. Trophy" in silver paint pen. Letter of provenance from Roberto Alomar. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
