1993 Major League Baseball All-Star Most Valuable Player Trophy. Baseball's best gathered at Camden Yards for the Mid-Summer Classic in 1993. The new ballpark, with a historic feel, provided the perfect backdrop for baseball to celebrate its rich history. Kirby Puckett stole the show as he finished with two hits, including a home run, in an MVP performance. The American League prevailed 9-3 - winning its sixth straight. For his work, Puckett was presented with the Chevrolet All-Star Game MVP trophy.

We are pleased to offer the same award as Puckett took home that night. In actuality, three MVP trophies were made by Jostens. One was given to Puckett while a second was presented to Chevrolet for display purposes. The final edition was sent to Cooperstown for all to enjoy. Once Chevrolet was done with the trophy it was sent back to Jostens. This trophy was the one sent back to Jostens. But the story takes a turn from there. The original owner, employed at Jostens at the time, got permission to present it to the MVP of his weekly softball team. When the season concluded the original owner was given the trophy for good. The impressive prize (21" tall) has a built-in 1993 Official All-Star baseball at its apex. "Chevrolet Most Valuable Player" and an All-Star logo appear on the pyramid-shaped center. The hard plastic base features American and National League logos. A Jostens manufacturer's sticker is affixed to the bottom of the base. The trophy was glued but no longer holds. A little TLC will easily remedy this issue. While none of us will be able to take home an MVP trophy from baseball's ultimate fan showcase, one lucky bidder will at least feel like an MVP.
