1990's Wade Boggs Game Worn Cleats With Player Letter. Wade Boggs had to go to the evil empire to finally taste championship champagne. While most remember Boggs for spraying the ball out of the infield as one of baseball's finest singles hitters, he finally secured a ring with the Yankees. While we can't confirm these were the cleats he went for his famous horse ride on, the "Nike [size] 11.5" cleats show great big league use. "12" is written in silver paint pen on both and Boggs offered his personal authentication with a signature and "Game Used Yankees" inscription on the toe. Infield dirt is still caked into the bottoms and sock pilling marks are visible on the inside as well. Letter of provenance from Wade Boggs. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
